Jorge Garcia, an ICT Technician at St Aidan's Catholic Primary Academy wrote about his experience of working with Joskos Solutions
What has been your overall experience with Joskos?
Since we started our partnership with Joskos over a year ago, the ICT standards throughout our School have gone through a massive improvement in terms of maintenance and risk-management. Most importantly, the partnership has impacted positively on our children's education and progress.
Do you feel that Joskos has helped your school? If so, how?
Joskos has helped our school in many ways, from helping us to achieve a consistent wireless connection throughout the whole school, to having brand-new ICT suite installed. They have also put in a brand new infrastructure of group policies on our new server, which is ultimately leading us to having better ICT experience within our school.
Please elaborate on how you and Joskos usually work together
I’ve been working as an ICT technician for the last 3 years, and now we are onto our second year with Joskos. During that time I have been able to work alongside some of the Joskos engineers, and have picked up on their skills and knowledge which I now use in my everyday duties. These range from making sure all the ICT equipment is performing well to making sure Active Directory, DHCP, and the wireless network are up and running optimally.
