Support Contracts

For your peace of mind Joskos provide a fixed-price annual support contract that gives you unlimited access to our highly-skilled support resources.

All of our support agreements are designed specifically for you: there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

With a Joskos support contract you never have to worry about not having the necessary skills or resources in-house to maintain your systems. Our highly experienced engineers have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help you manage your network. As a Joskos supported organisation you will benefit from:

  • Unlimited telephone support: simply pick up the phone and get expert advice whenever you need it most from our experienced and friendly engineers.
  • Reduced network downtime: we keep your network protected with the latest security fixes and updates.
  • Savings on expensive engineer call-outs: you can always speak to our experts first.
  • Remote support management by experienced senior engineers

Scheduled maintenance visits

As part of your support contract we schedule onsite engineer visits to your site as part of a preventative maintenance check. These visits are conducted on a weekly basis; however, we are happy to change the frequency of these visits to suit your needs. Besides making sure that all your software is up-to-date, we can tackle the small day-to-day snagging problems that could prove troublesome if left alone, and give your technical staff the one-to-one training and support they would expect from an internal IT department.

These regular site visits help to keep your network running as well as enabling our customers to form strong relationships with their designated engineers - personal attention resulting in increased staff knowledge and reduced system downtime

Some of the things that are undertaken during these visits include implementing software security fixes, verifying disaster recovery plans, checking LAN security, advice on hardware maintenance as well as providing technical advice to internal IT staff. Not to mention the dreaded process of installing software across your network. All of this is carried out by your dedicated engineer.

As one of Joskos’ valued clients you would also have access to a number of additional benefits that can be utilised to advance the continued development of your network and systems. These benefits also allow your school to make use of our purchasing power with manufacturers in order to obtain discounts on hardware and software.

The benefits include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic & project advice
  • Project implementation support
    • We can make our engineers available to assist you with implementations of new hardware. We are happy to provide this service on an adhoc basis at no charge based on the discretion of the account manager. However, please note that should an engineer be required onsite for more than one day at a time then we would need to negotiate a daily rate for this service on a project by project basis.
    • Our account managers and engineers are always available to provide free implementation advice and guidance on an unlimited basis throughout the term of the contract.

  • Technical training for your internal IT staff
